The Slaughters Manor House
Set in the heart of Lower Slaughter, The Slaughters Manor House offers refined dining within an elegant 17th-century country house surrounded by five acres of landscaped gardens. The restaurant provides a distinctive setting for visitors wanting to combine a meal with the historic character of one of the Cotswolds’ best-known villages.
The food has a contemporary British focus, with menus shaped by seasonality and an emphasis on Cotswold produce, regional sourcing and freshly foraged ingredients. Dinner is served in the main restaurant from Tuesday to Saturday, with the dining space combining contemporary styling with historic features of the manor.
Visitors can also enjoy afternoon tea in the lounges or, when appropriate, outside on the lawn. Non-residents are welcome to dine at the Manor, and advance reservations are recommended.
The property has complimentary on-site parking, while wheelchair access to the restaurant is available via the patio. An accessible toilet is situated close to the dining room. Children are welcomed in the restaurant, and the hotel asks guests with particular dietary requirements to discuss these in advance.
With its historic surroundings and more formal style of evening dining, The Slaughters Manor House is particularly well suited to a leisurely dinner or special occasion during a stay in Lower Slaughter.
